Mr.
Gary Knoble, Vice President, The Hartford, Mr.
Knoble directs The Hartford�s Data Management Division of
the Actuarial Department, which is responsible for all property
and casualty statistical reporting. He is a past president
of the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association and currently
serves as Chair of IASA�s China Curriculum Committee. He is
a founding member and past president of the Insurance Data
Management Association. Gary also serves on the International
Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions
(IAIABC), Electronic Data Interchange Steering Committee,
and is a member ISO�s Ad Hoc Data Reporting Group.
Mr.
Don West, President & Chairman of IASA, In 1978 Mr.
West started his career fresh out of college as a math and
computer science major and took a job as a programmer at Sentry
Insurance.He then joined Colonial Insurance (now a subsidiary
of Nationwide) as manager of data processing; he stayed for
18 years. There he learned the ins and outs of running technology.
Don didn�t confine his knowledge to the technical side of
the house. He grew through a series of assignments in the
insurance industry as well, including chief operating officer
of the national accounts division for Colonial, where he did
market planning, product marketing, and managed the service
center. West has taken that knowledge to his present position
at State National.
Mr.
Cesar Flores, Vice-President of Technology, California FAIR
Plan, Mr. Flores has over 7 years experience in Information
Technology Management serving as Vice President of Information
Systems; Over 10 years experience in Information Systems.
Mr.
Carlos M. Vazquez, CIO, CARNET Insurance Company, Mr
Vasquez has 20 years experience within the insurance industry.
He currently serves as CIO for CARNET Insurance Company, a
regional MGA for TIG who is a member company of Fairfax Financial
(US) Group. His prior experiences include a 17 year employment
with Workmen's Auto Insurance Company. Ten of those years
were spent as Vice-President of Information Services. Mr.
Vasquez brings to OpenFLEX, Inc. experience in all aspects
of information technology, which include IBM mainframes, IBM
as/400, pc servers, CITRIX, IBM, MICROSOFT, NOVELL and internet
environments.
Mr.
David K. Beyer, Vice President of Technology for Frank Crystal
& Company and Managing Member, for eSEED Capital, is both
an insurance broker and venture capitalist who specializes
in creating new insurance and financial hybrid products for
technology companies. Through an intensive enterprise-wide
due diligence review process, he assists ventures in the adoption
of a �best business practices model?to insure integrity of
execution, risk minimization and creation of value as a trusted
brand.
Ms.
Marlene M. Tabet, Vice-President of Operations, Ward General
Insurance Services, Ms.Tabet has over 14 years experience
within the insurance industry. She serves as VP of Operations
for a large regional MGA that specializes in Private Passenger
Automobile insurance. Her experience and background makes
her a valuable asset to the OpenFLEX, Inc. team. She brings
both experience and insight to the daily operations that are
common amongst all insurance companies. Major strengths include
the use of technology to streamline overall business functions,
such as the automating of insurance codes and regulations
to maximize underwriting efficiencies.
Mr.
Alan Weaver, President/CEO, Sonic Jet, Inc., Mr. Alan
Weaver is a long time advisor of openFLEX's management team.
He serves as president and CEO at Sonic Jet, Inc. He has extensive
experience with KPMG in the area of Merger's and Acquisition's
as well as expertise in turnaround management and reorganization
of both domestic and international operations. Mr. Alan Weaver
holds a MBA and a Bachelor of Science from Oklahoma City University.
